Dear friends,
In 1949, two Finnish missionaries arrived on the shores of Singapore, answering God's call to share the gospel with the local community. Their unwavering commitment led to the founding of Zion Full Gospel Church. By God's grace, the church relocated to its current site at 44 Hoot Kiam Road in 1980, occupying a two-and-a-half-story freehold property on 10,000 square feet of prime land in District 10. In 1998, the church initiated renovation work to enhance and restore the building's condition. Since then, this beloved structure has faithfully served the church for many generations.
In 2019, the Lord guided our leadership team to consider the possibility of rebuilding the church. Following many discussions with local authorities, architects, and consultants, we finally received the necessary permit to start construction from URA in July 2023. Shortly after, SLA rezoned the land to a permanent religious zone with a GFA of 1.4. Truly, God has answered the prayers of our members.
The vision for this new church building can be summed up in one powerful phrase: "To the glory of God for generations to come." We have been entrusted with the stewardship of this land and property, and it is our duty to ensure that this new home shines brightly at the heart of our city, reflecting His glory. This church will be a place where individuals can acknowledge Jesus, discover renewed hope, ignite fresh passion, and connect with their spiritual family. What truly matters is that this building stands for generations, serving as a testament to His unending love and glory, cherished by future generations who will look back and be inspired.
